Yes, there was a giveaway of a brand new Kindle at Annual Conference this year, sponsored by the kind folks of LifeTouch. Contrary to popular belief, there actually was a drawing for the Kindle! Due to the business of Annual Conference and the need for slight schedule changes, the drawing did not occur at the exact time that it was publicized throughout the week.

LifeTouch representative Randy Perdue presents Christ UMC Franklin pastor Rev. Carol Cavin-Dillon with a brand new Amazon Kindle
Thanks to everyone for visiting the Bicentennial Room at Annual Conference, stopping by the LifeTouch table, and for participating in this year’s drawing. Janet Charlton of Christ UMC Franklin “nominated” her pastor, Rev. Carol Cavin-Dillon of whom was the lucky grand prize winner!
An avid reader, Rev. Cavin-Dillon humbly plans to use the Kindle as her book-only alternative to her iPad.
